DHAKA, Dec. 07 (Xinhua): Bangladeshi Education Minister Dipu Moni has tested COVID-19 positive.
Abul Khayer, Education Ministry spokesman, told journalists on Monday that Moni has opted for home isolation as a precautionary measure after testing positive, adding her health condition is good now.
She was tested on Sunday after showing mild symptoms, said the official.
The virus has spread to the country’s all 64 districts and the number of confirmed infections totalled 479,743 while fatalities stood at 6,874.
