Khandbari, July 3: A 15-bed Khandbari Municipal Hospital has come into operation at Manebhanjyang of Khandbari municipality-3.
The municipality implemented ‘one local-level, one hospital’ policy by upgrading Pama health post to 15-bed hospital.
The hospital has started providing its services from Wednesday. The municipal hospital building was constructed at a cost of Rs 37.35 million.
Former Minister for Health of Koshi Province, Rajendra Karki, Mayor Mahesh Thapaliya and Chief District Officer Divya Raj Pokharel, among others inaugurated the hospital.
On the occasion, Former Health Minister Karki expressed commitment to support necessary medical equipment.
Similarly, Mayor Thapaliya shared that the hospital would provide health services by appointing doctors including medical officer from the beginning of coming fiscal year.
