Jumla, Nov 26: A total of 310 people from Tila rural municipality-2 of Jumla district have been benefitted from a free health camp run at a local Raralihi Health Post.
The health camp was organized by the Inclusive Health Service Project under the INF Nepal on Monday. It was held in collaboration with the rural municipality.
Services related to ENT (ear, nose and throat) and orthopedics were provided in the health camp, according to public health inspector, Kamal Rawat. Out of total service recipients, 132 were female 178 female. Even the medical counseling was provided to the people.
A local Kali Rawat from Tila-1 said they were happy to have medical service by the special doctors in the village.
A medical team led by orthopedist Toofan Singh Kathayat from Karnali Academy of Health Sciences catered the medical and health services to the needy ones, according to project officer of INF Nepal in Jumla, Ram Budhamagar.
The doctors also wrote prescriptions for disabled persons so that they could be entitled to social security. The locals underlined the need for continuity of such health camps in the far-flung areas. #nepal #jumla #health
