35 new model of vehicles to be unveiled at NAIMA Mobility Expo



Kathmandu, July 31: The Nepal Automobile Importers and Manufacturers Association (NAIMA) is set to unveil 35 new model of vehicles at the upcoming NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo, scheduled to take place from August 6 to 10 at Bhrikutimandap, Kathmandu.

The event will feature over 50 automobile brands, showcasing the latest innovations in mobility solutions, including electric vehicles (EVs), according to organizers.

NAIMA Executive Director Rajkumar Dulal confirmed that all preparations for the event have been completed.

This year, the expo will feature new model of 15 two-wheelers, 15 four-wheelers, and five commercial vehicles.

Expo Committee member Gaurav Sarada said that the event will highlight cutting-edge mobility technologies and EVs, offering visitors a glimpse into the future of sustainable transportation.

In addition to the vehicle showcases, NAIMA has launched a special online video competition. The best video uploaded to social media by August 5 will win a prize of Rs 100,000, and ten other videos uploaded during the event dates (August 6–10) will receive Rs 10,000 each.

A panel discussion featuring national and international experts will be held on the final day of the exhibition.

Tickets for the exhibition will be available through Khalti by IME. Organizers announced that 5% of ticket proceeds will go toward mobility-related scholarships and fellowships in coordination with the Ministry of Education and the Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT).

NAIMA President Ritu Singh Vaidya expressed confidence that this year’s Mobility Expo would be Nepal’s largest and most influential automobile exhibition to date. #nepal #NAIME
