Kathmandu: Coronavirus has been confirmed on 3,517 individuals in the last 24 hours. A total of 2,156 men and 1,361 women tested positive for coronavirus in course of carrying out 14,989 PCR tests.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population, with this, number of coronavirus infected people reached 168,235 in the country.
Similarly, there are 38,356 active cases of coronavirus in the country.
A total of 4,096 coronavirus infected people got recovery in last 24 hours. With this, the number of people getting recovery so far has reached 128,958. There are now 2,666 people are in quarantine facilities.
Likewise, 16 people died from coronavirus in last 24 hours.
With this, number of people died from coronavirus reached 920, according to the Ministry.
The Kathmandu Valley recorded 1,888 new cases of coronavirus in the last 24 hours.
Of them, 1,508 people are from Kathmandu, 249 from Lalitpur and 131 from Bhaktapur.
