Rautahat, Oct 20 : The District Court, Rautahat, has granted permission to the police to remand the suspended lawmaker Mohamud Aftab Alam for five days for the investigation.
Earlier such permission was granted for seven days.
Former Minister Alam was arrested last Sunday on charge of his involvement in a bomb blast occurred in Rautahat district in April 2008.
District Court judge Chakrapani Aryal granted permission to the police to remand Alam for five days when the police presented him before the court.
