Kathmandu, July 3: Police have arrested 52 people including six Chinese for their connection in crypto currency transaction and operating dating app illegally and made them public.
A team deployed from Central Investigation Bureau nabbed them at a time when they were operating the call centre and Meto dating app illegally after registering the ‘Social Software Development Company on a rented house at Lalitpur Metropolitan City-4.
The company has rented a house at Chagal of Kathmandu Metropolitan City-13 as its branch from where they were conducting such illegal activities, according to CIB.
The CIB team had seized around Rs 1.4 million, three laptops and 54 mobile sets. Police have started investigation into the case.
