Dang, Sept 13: Seventy-one prisoners who escaped from the Tulsipur Prison have been arrested.
The jail chief, Gir Bahadur Sejuwal, informed that out of the 253 prisoners who escaped during the Gen Z protest, 71 have been recaptured.
He said that some contacted on their own, while others were arrested by security personnel. Among the 469 prisoners in the jail, 253 male prisoners had escaped after vandalizing the jail building. Only female prisoners were remaining in the prison.
Meanwhile, daily life in Dang district is returning to normalcy. Since this morning, public transportation has started operating here, and there has been an increase in market activities as well. However, the local administration has issued a curfew order in the district.#nepal #rss
