8th Bhaktapur Industrial, trade festival kicks off



Bhaktapur, April 4: The eighth Bhaktapur Industrial, Cultural, Tourism and Trade Festival-2081 has begun from today. It is organised on the occasion of Nepali New Year 2081 BS.

Mayor of Changunarayan Municipality, Jeevan Khatri, inaugurated the festival organised by Industrial Peace Nepal and Madhyapur Boy’s Band.

The festival is organized at Sallaghari-based Nepal Trust’s land. The event is organised with an objective of making available all goods in one place to consumers, said Chairperson of Industrial Peace Nepal, Sandip Mahat.

The festival has 50 stalls where all daily essential goods, different types of clothes, shoes, automobile, mobile sets of different brands, electronic appliances and agriculture and handicraft goods are put on sale and display.

The event also features cultural programmes and concert by various bands and singers. The festival also features various fun activities and entertainment for children.

An arrangement of 20-50 per cent discount on goods has been made, added Chair Mahat. The organisers expect around 500,000 people and transactions of around Rs 100 million-120 million in the festival which will run till April 14. #nepal
