Kathmandu, May 11: The Council of Ministers (Cabinet) meeting has approved the government’s policy and programme for the upcoming fiscal year 2025/26.
During a meeting held today, the Council of Ministers endorsed the address on the government’s policy and programme to be presented by President Ram Chandra Paudel at the joint session of both houses of the Federal Parliament.
President Paudel is scheduled to present the government’s policy and programme at 4:00 pm today in accordance with Article 95 of the Constitution of Nepal.
Government spokesperson and Minister for Education Sasmit Pokharel said the Cabinet approved the President’s address as per the constitutional provision.
The new session of both houses of the Federal Parliament is also commencing today. This policy and program is the first of under Prime Minister Balendra Shah. #Nepal
