The excavated works at the Narayani River in Gaindakot, Nawalparasi (Bardaghat–Susta East). The district monitoring committee has concluded that the Narayani River—an important watershed area for Nawalpur and Chitwan, including the Chitwan National Park—has been subjected to uncontrolled excavation.
