Kathmandu, July 25: Taekwondo player Bhaibavi Sapkota won two medals, including a gold medal, for the country in the Hainan Cup International Invitational Taekwondo Competition.
Sapkota won the gold medal under Poomsae and the silver medal under Kyorugi in the competition held at the Tunchang County Stadium in Hainan Province of China.
Sapkota won the gold medal by defeating players from Thailand and China in the Poomsae, while she missed the gold medal in the Kyorugi event against Thailand.
Players from South Korea, the Philippines, Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, Bangladesh, Thailand, Vietnam, Pakistan, and other countries participated in the tournament. #nepal #rss
