Kathmandu, Aug 13: The Nepali Congress Parliamentary Party is having a meeting to discuss about the arrest of MP Sunil Sharma, among others.
It is said that the meeting will make an official opinion about Sharma’s arrest.
On last Thursday, CIB of Nepal Police arrested MP Sharma on charges of fake educational certificate, which he repeatedly denied. With the order of the Kathmandu District Court, he was released from CIB custody within two days of his arrest.
Many believe that MP Sharma was arrested after he raised finger over Home Minister and Finance Minister on 100-kg gold smuggling scam from Tribhuvan International Airport. He was demanding the resignation of both ministers and pave the way for fair investigation.
