Kathmandu, Oct 31 : The Kathmandu District Attorney Office has registered a case at the Kathmandu District Court against former Speaker Krishna Bahadur Mahara today.
The case was filed against him on the charge of rape. According to the information officer at the court, Gyan Bahadur Karki, the case was filed at the court as per Clause-34 (3) of the Penal Code 2074 BS.
The Kathmandu District Court on August 25 for the third time had remanded him to seven more days in police custody for investigation.
