Kathmandu, May 14: The government has transferred 60 joint secretaries. The cabinet meeting held on Tuesday decided to transfer the secretaries of various agencies, ministries and provincial ministries.
According to the government’s decision, Basant Adhikari, who was the secretary at Madhesi Commission, has been sent to the Ministry of Home Affairs, while Rudra Prasad Pandit has been transferred from Home Ministry to the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation.
Similarly, Narayan Prasad Bhatta and Navraj Dhungana, joint secretaries at the Prime Minister’s Office, have been transferred to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, while Bhishma Kumar Bhusal, who was the secretary at Ministry of Social Development of Bagmati, has been transferred to the Ministry of Home Affairs.
