Kathmandu, March 19: The results of the Free Student Union (FSU) elections at Tribhuvan University (TU) have been made public.
According to ANNFSU Vice President Narayan Gharti, candidates from the All Nepal National Free Students Union (ANNFSU) have secured victories at Nepal Commerce Campus and Mahendra Ratna Campus, Tahachal, in Kathmandu. Bishal Rokaha and Ishwor Thapa have been elected as Presidents of Nepal Commerce Campus and Mahendra Ratna Campus, respectively.
Similarly, candidates from the Nepal Student Union (NSU) have won in Thapathali Engineering Campus and Maharajgunj Nursing Campus. As per NSU spokesperson Suraj Sejuwal, Prahlad Khadka and Bindu Pokharel have been elected Presidents at Thapathali and Maharajgunj campuses, respectively.
Meanwhile, the All Nepal National Independent Students Union (Revolutionary) [ANNISU (R)] has claimed victory in the Public Administration Campus and Sanothimi Multipurpose Campus, Bhaktapur. Aniket Tiwari and Narendra Thagunna have been elected Presidents of these campuses, according to ANNISU (R) General Secretary Roshan Magar.
Additionally, independent candidate Soyam Shrestha has been elected President of Pulchowk Engineering Campus.
