Kathmandu, May 1: National Assembly Chair Narayan Prasad Dahal has expressed the confidence that the Labour Day will inspire the State and the employers to work for the interest of the workers and the latter to move ahead being united.
In a message of best wishes on the occasion of the International Workers’ Day today, the Upper House Chair said may the May Day motivate all the labourers to move ahead by being organized and united for securing their professional rights and interest.
Chairman Dahal said that the federal democratic constitution promulgated in 2015 as an achievement of great sacrifice, dedication and struggle of the Nepali people had provided every worker with the right to wage, facilities and social security according to their work.
Stating that many Acts and laws have been made in favour of the working class based on the provisions of the constitution, he said that it would be meaningful to celebrate the Labour Day only if those laws and the rights guaranteed by the constitution are implemented .#nepal #World Labour Day #rss
