Bhojpur, July 6: A man in Bhojpur district has brutally murdered four members of his own family, according to local police.
Rajendra Rai, a resident of Ward No. 2 of Bhojpur Municipality, killed his father-in-law Bel Bahadur Giri, mother-in-law Bindu Giri, his wife, and his brother-in-law by attacking them with a sharp weapon. Police have confirmed the incident, noting that the wife and brother-in-law were underage, and thus their names have not been disclosed.
After committing the murders, Rai himself informed the police by calling the control room and confessed to killing the four individuals.
Following the call, a police team from the temporary police post in Okhre was immediately dispatched. Rai was found in Ram Prasad Rai Rural Municipality Ward No. 1, in an area called Harbubhanyjang. He was discovered with self-inflicted stab wounds to his abdomen.
Rai had reportedly married two years ago. He is currently in police custody, and further investigation is underway. #nepal #police #crime
