Kathmandu, Aug 12: The House of Representatives (HoR) has sent the Tilganga Eye University Bill-2081 BS to the relevant committee for clause-wise discussion.
The HoR meeting unanimously endorsed the proposal presented by Minister for Education, Science and Technology Raghuji Panta to send the Bill to the Committee for Legislation Management. The Bill originated in the National Assembly.
During the meeting, Minister for Communication and Information Technology Prithvi Subba Gurung, representing Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, presented the National Dalit Commission’s fourth annual report of the fiscal year 2080/81 BS.
Likewise, the meeting passed the condolence resolution over the demise of former State Minister Khadga Bahadur Basyal.
Basyal had served as the Constituent Assembly member in 2064 BS and 2070 BS representing the Nepali Congress. He passed away on August 8 at the age of 74.
