Kathmandu: Kathmandu Metropolitan City is all set to set up an isolation ward of 5,000 beds within a week with the collaboration of federal, state and local governments.
Issuing an appeal on Wednesday, KMC Mayor Bidya Sundar Shakya said that preparation was in full swing to construct the 5,000-bed isolation ward for the management of coronavirus infected people in the wake of increasing cases of COVID-19 in the Kathmandu Valley of late.
Mayor Shakya also urged the citizens to help government in effective implementation of the decision to impose prohibitory order again.
