Khandbari, Oct 19: Police here have arrested an inmate escaped from Nakkhu jail, Lalitpur. The arrested one is Bishal Bishwokarma, 27, a resident of Khandbari municipality-8, Sankhuwasabha.
Bishwokarma, who was serving a jail term in Nakkhu on a rape case, had fled the jail during the Gen-Z protest on September 8-9.
A team mobilized from the District Police Office apprehended him based on a tip-off, according to Deputy Superintendent of Police, Kumar Prasad Mainali.
Further investigation is underway, Mainali added. Bishwokarma would be sent back to Nakkhu jail, Lalitpur after coordinating with jail administration. #nepal #rss
