Kathmandu, Dec 28: An agreement has been reached to unify the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) and Kathmandu Metropolitan City Mayor Balen Shah. A seven-point agreement was concluded between the two a short while ago.
According to the agreement, Rabi Lamichhane will lead the Rastriya Swatantra Party, while Balen Shah will be put forward as a candidate for the next Prime Minister.
The election symbol will remain the RSP’s bell. The agreement document has been signed by RSP Chair Rabi and Mayor Shah.
According to the agreement, it was also agreed to express commitment by taking ownership of the movement carried out by gen z youths against corruption and poor governance, and to appropriately address the demands of the injured and the families of the martyrs.#nepal #Rabi #balen
