The English football club, Aston Villa continues it’s brilliant performance in the current Premier League season 2025/26.
In today’s one sided match in terms of ball control and consistent attack, Aston Villa defeated Nottingham Forest by 3-1 goal difference.
It looked like that Villa players were all set to score more than a dozen goals but had to wait until the last minute of the first half. Forward Watkins delivered a brilliant ball outside of the de-box area and managed to lead the team 1-0.
In the second half of 49 and 73 minute, captain John McGinn scored two goals. In the mean time, with a slight mistake from Villa’s defender, Forest’s Morgan Gibbs-White scored the only goal in the 61 minute.
With the win, Aston Villa garnered important three points and reached on second position in the league with 42 points from 20 games.
While Nottingham Forest remains in the 17th position in the table with 18 points from 20 games. #premierleague
