Hundred small irrigation schemes completed in Makawanpur

Hetauda, April 4: A total of 101 small irrigation schemes run in different parts of Makawanpur for enhancing agro productivity have been completed. According to the Bagmati Province Water Resource and Irrigation Division Office, 101 small irrigation schemes were completed as of mid-February against the target to accomplish 191 schemes
Only 15 percent of the land irrigated in Baglung

The district has a total of 178,400 hectares of land, of which 46,148 hectares is being cultivated.
