Kathmandu, Dec 13: Nepal is facing Sri Lanka in its first match today in ongoing ACC Men’s U19 Asia Cup in the United Arab Emirates.
The match has already started at The Seven Stadium, Dubai at 10:45 am (Nepali time).
Meanwhile, Sri Lanka won the toss and invited Nepal to bat first. Nepal has already lost four wickets with the 48 runs in the board in the 16 overs. Nepali batsmen Sahil Patel (12 runs), Niraj Kumar Yadav (10 runs), Vansh Chhetri (0 runs) and Dilsad Ali (0 runs) are already out.
Batsmen Cibrin Shrestha (16 runs) and captain Ashok Dhami (3 runs) are in the crease.
Similarly, Nepal will play against Bangladesh on December 15 and third match against Afghanistan on December 17.
Total eight teams have been participating in the tournament taking place from December 12. India, Pakistan, UAE and Malaysia are in group ‘A’ as well as Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan and Nepal are in group ‘B’.
Top two teams from both groups will qualify for semi-finals. The final match for the tittle would be held on December 21. #nepal #cricket #ACCcup
