Amazing Nepal: My Journey to Pokhara and Ghandruk

When I heard that we were going to Pokhara, I was over the moon! First, we boarded a bus from Kathmandu to Pokhara. For a short break, the bus stopped at Dharke, where we enjoyed a warm cup of tea while admiring the beautiful hills and mountains around us.

Our next stop was Kurintar. There, we saw the Trishuli River—clean, clear, and flowing so gracefully. The river’s bluish-white color melted my heart. That was the moment I realized how truly beautiful Nepal is. We drank tea, ate snacks, and enjoyed the scenery all around us.

Then my family and I got back on the bus. The view was to die for! We couldn’t even blink because we didn’t want to miss a single moment. At Abukhairini, we got stuck in a big traffic jam due to a landslide. But even then, I had fun playing with my mom’s big sister. Every time we passed a river, I wished I could dive right in—it was so clean, clear, and heaven-blue.

After hours on the road, we finally reached Pokhara! I was so excited. We got off the bus at Prithvi Chowk and took a taxi to our hotel. From our room, we could see the beauty of Pokhara—the greenery, the lakes, and the colorful shops that lined the streets.

We visited Fewa Lake, which looked like pure happiness. We also took blessings at Tal Barahi Temple. Later, we went to Pame to eat fish and spend family time together. The lake shined like a golden coin under the sun. That night, I was so tired but happy beyond words.

The next morning felt magical, like waking up in another world. We went boating again—the water sparkled beautifully, and the mountains reflected perfectly on its surface. Then we visited Begnas Lake, a quiet and peaceful place to hang out with family. We tried grilled fish near the lake—it was delicious!

After spending another night in Pokhara, it was time to go to Ghandruk. On the way, we passed by stunning hills that looked close enough to touch. When we reached Ghandruk, I was amazed—it looked like a fairy tale! From our hotel, the Machhapuchhre mountain shined like pure gold. I never wanted to leave.

We explored the village, drank hot water to keep warm, and later enjoyed hot tea with my auntie, grandpa, and parents while watching the mountains. My family and I even dressed up as Gurungs, the local people who live there. I loved the traditional dress and the peaceful atmosphere.

After exploring and taking pictures, we packed our bags and returned to Pokhara, then took the night bus back to Kathmandu. When we reached home, I was sleepy but happy.

This trip was one of the best memories of my life—a journey full of beauty, love, and joy. #Nepal
