Kathmandu, Nov 3: Chief of Army Staff Prabhu Ram Sharma has returned home last night after completing his official visit to the People’s Republic of China. He was received at the Tribhuvan International Airport by General Sitaram Khadka.
Army Chief Sharma participated in the opening ceremony of the Beijing Xiangshan Forum held in Beijing. According to the Military Public Relations and Information Directorate, a meeting was held between him and General Liu Zhenli, Chief of Staff of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army.
During the visit, CoAS Sharma visited various units and educational institutions of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army located in Xi’an City, Shanghai and Guangzhou. In the visiting party, there was a military assistant and staff officer.
Army Chief Sharma left for Beijing on October 27.
He has recently visited India and UK.
