Buddha Air introduces new ATR-72 aircraft

Kathmandu, April 29: Buddha Air, a private sector air service provider company, has introduced a new aircraft. The company brought in it’s 15th ATR-72 aircraft on Friday.

According to Buddha Air’s information officer Dipendra Kumar Karna, the new aircraft will start commercial flights within a month after completing the necessary paperwork.

Now, Buddha Air will have a fleet of 15 aircrafts. Among these, there are 12 ATR-72 and three ATR-42 planes. Earlier, the two beach aircraft owned by Buddha were sold to a Canadian company.

After the addition of new aircraft, the company plans to add one flight to Dhangadhi and Surkhet destinations, which currently have two daily flights. In the same way, preparations are being made to take off from Sankhuwasabha’s Tumlingtar by ATR-72. The company said that it is going to bring another new plane soon.
