Kathmandu: Buddha Air, country’s one of the leading private carriers, will operate three flights to India from the Pokhara Regional International Airport (PRIA).
The flights to three Indian cities (Varanasi or Benaras, New Delhi and Dehradun) will run from January in 2023, said the Company.
“The Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) has said the airport will come into operation from January in 2023. The Air will operate its first Pokhara-Benaras-Pokhara flight from the airport,” said a company official.
Pokhara-Banaras-Pokhara flights will be available three days: Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday in a week, the Company said.
As the Company says, the government is making initiatives for an air traffic route from India, and there will be two regular flights along the Pokhara-Delhi-Pokhara route on a daily basis once the route and slot permissions will be obtained from the Indian Government.
The Company has decided to operate three flights on the Pokhara-Deharadun-Pokhara route. At the moment, the Buddha Air ensures the Kathmandu-Benaras flight via Tribhuvan International Airport.
