Kathmandu, Sept 5: The meeting of the Council of Ministers has approved Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli’s visit to United States of America.
The Cabinet meeting held on Thursday approved the Prime Minister’s visit to New York for the United Nations General Assembly.
According to sources, the visiting team includes Foreign Minister Dr Arzu Rana Deuba, Prime Minister’s Chief Advisor Bishnu Rimal, Foreign Secretary Sewa Lamsal, Prime Minister’s wife Radhika Shakya, private doctors and others.
The United Nations General Assembly will be held in New York from September 10 to 28, 2024. Under that, the Summit of the Future is scheduled to be held on 22-23 September.
Earlier Prime Minister Oli had addressed the United Nations General Assembly in Ashoj, 2075 BS as the Prime Minister. This would be his first foreign trip after inauguration as Prime Minister. #PMOLi #cabinet
