Nuwakot: The district secretary of the banned Netra Bikra Chand-led group Bintosh Silwal ‘Ashok’ has been arrested. He was arrested from Kathmandu, according to District Police Office, Nuwakot.
He has been remanded to custody on the charge of committing an offense against public interest and security, said Chief District Officer Abi Narayan Kafley.
Police have also accused Silwal of carrying out arson in the Ncell telecom towers in various places of the district and of extortion.
