KATHMANDU, Dec 10: Chief Justice Cholendra Shumsher JB Rana has urged all concerned to implement the orders issued regarding the Covid-19 crisis.
At a virtual programme organized by Nepal Bar Association here Thursday, CJ Rana said all sides need to be responsible and dutiful to implement the court orders delivered in regard to the crisis.
Judiciary is the backbone of human rights protection and promotion, he said, adding that the legal practitioners have equally important role to ensure justice.
“In the adverse situation created by Covid-19, access to justice and respect and protection of human rights should be given priority,” Rana underscored.
Similarly, Coordinator of Human Rights Public Concern Committee of NBA, Sunil Pokhrel, said the event was organized to make annual review of the human rights violations.
