Kathmandu, Nov 14: Prominent children litterateur of the country Mr Shanta Das Manandhar has passed away this morning at Vayodha Hospital in Kathmandu. According to artist KK Karmacharya, he died at the age of 90 in the hospital.
Manandhar was active in child literature for 45 years. He has published Balposh, Balkoseli and edited Machakyab, a children magazine.
The child literature society members have expressed their grief over the loss of a senior litterateur of the country.
