Kathmandu: Chen Song, the newly appointed resident Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Nepal, presented his letter of credence to President Bidya Devi Bhandari.
At a special ceremony held today at the President’s Office, Sheetal Niwas, he presented the letter of credence to the President.
The President’s office informed that high-ranking officials of the Nepalese government were also present on the occasion.
Envoy Song replaced former Ambassador Hou Yanqi.
Upon arrival recently envoy Song appreciated the long historical and cultural relations between Nepal and China, and reteirated his commitment to further exapand mutual friendship to a new height.
