Kathmandu, Oct 9 : At the invitation of President Bidya Devi Bhandari, the President of the People’s Republic of China, Xi Jinping is paying a state visit to Nepal commencing from October 12-13, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said today.
During the visit, President Xi will meet with President Bhandari who will host a banquet in honour of her Chinese counterpart and the Chinese delegation.
The Chinese President will hold delegation level official talks with Prime Minister K P Sharma Oli.
Following the talks, both leaders will witness the signing of bilateral agreements and memoranda of understanding.
Senior leaders of Nepal will call on President Xi during his sojourn in Kathmandu.
