Surkhet, Dec 24: Chief Minister of Karnali Province, Yam Lal Kandel, has demanded the federal government to build an environment conducive for operating highways in Karnali Province round the clock.
At a Karnali Province-level Security Seminar, he shared that transport service at night was not possible along the Karnali Highway.
These roads are currently under the control of federal government, the Chief Minister reminded, requesting the upgrade of the roads in Karnali Province.
He also urged Home Minister Om Prakash Aryal to immediately resolve the problems facing by security personnel in mountainous districts.
The upcoming election scheduled for coming March 5 would not be possible given the current situation of security and the staying way of major political parties.
