Itahari: Minister for Communications and Information Technology Gyanendra Bahadur Karki asserted that the current coalition government would move ahead on the path of development and prosperity along with stability.
Addressing a welcome programme organized at Bhokraha Narshing Rural Municipality in Sunsari district on Sunday, Minister Karki said that the democratic-left alliance was formed to fulfill a specific objective and it would remain until that ‘specific’ objective was achieved.
Karki explained that the coalition was formed to protect the provisions enshrined and envisioned by the Constitution of Nepal promulgated as per the aspirations of the Nepali people. He further said there was a higher possibility of country moving towards authoritarianism and the current coalition was also formed to prevent that risk.
Karki is contesting the House of Representatives election on November 20 this year from Sunsari constituency no 4 representing the ruling Nepali Congress.
He asserted that he fulfilled most of the promises and commitments made with the public during the election in the past.
According to him, the complaint about poor mobile network in the area where the event took place would be addressed soon, the Minister shared, a tender had been called for building a tower for mobile network in Bokraha Narshing Rural Municipality area.
The Minister was hopeful that the tower would address the issues related to mobile network in the locality after it will be built. Minister Karki welcomed hundreds of cadres and leaders who had left their association with various political parties to Nepali Congress.
