Pokhara, Dec 16: Nepali Congress (NC) General-Secretary Bishwa Prakash Sharma called for the leadership in the party that could take on new challenges.
At a welcome programme organized by the NC Galkot Town Committee at Galkot in Baglung district today, General Secretary Sharma said that the upcoming national convention of the party to be held after two years would choose a new leadership.
“The upcoming national convention of the party by February 2024 would give direction to the party and it will provide leadership with new energy,” he said, pointing out the need for old sentiments and new confidence in the party.
He also emphasized that the people’s representatives elected from NC should correct their weakness and the party leadership should deliver in the best interest of the country and people.
According to him, the country needs quality development not the development for development sake.
