Gorkha, March 22: CPN (Maoist Centre) General Secretary Dev Gurung has said that conspiracies are being hatched to push the nation towards instability.
Inaugurating the sixth district conference of Tamu Liberation Front Gorkha chapter on Saturday, the Maoist Centre’s general secretary said that such attempts are being carried out in the pretext of reinstating monarchy in the country.
The regressive forces are trying to create instability in national politics. Now, there is no option to republic. Considering this fact, we should protest against regression and expose the regressive forces,” according to Gurung.
He said that monarchy could not be an option at any cost in a democracy adding that there are options to an individual and a political party given their failure.
General Secretary Gurung added that Maoist Centre will unite all like-minded forces and stated that his party would take the lead role for this to materialize.
