Pokhara, Sept 9: Construction has begun on the second Bhatbhateni supermarket in Pokhara, with an investment of 2 billion rupees. The foundation laying ceremony for the 6-story Bhatbhateni Superpark took place in Talchok, Pokhara Metropolitan City-29, covering an area of 12.5 ropani of land.
Panu Paudel, Chief Operating Officer of Bhatbhateni, announced that the 28th branch of the superstore is expected to be operational within a year.
During the ceremony, Bhatbhateni’s Chairman and Managing Director, Meen Bahadur Gurung, along with his wife Sabitri Gurung, performed the Bhumipuja and officially launched the construction.
The supermarket will span 225,000 square feet and include 2 movie halls, a 2-storey basement parking lot, and a children’s play area. It is anticipated that over 400 individuals will be employed directly at the supermarket. #bhatbhateni #nepal
