Syangja, Aug 31: Minister for Land Management, Cooperative and Poverty Alleviation, Padma Kumari Aryal, has shared about the Ministry’s plan to come up with a merger policy for cooperatives.
Cooperatives’ role will be sought to generate employment opportunities and accelerate the pace of development and for this it had been realized that there was no alternative to going for the cooperatives merger campaign.
In her address to an inaugural session of the Kanug Aandhikhola Savings and Credit Limited at Waling-9 of Syangja today, the Minister insisted that a merger was necessary for internal strength of cooperatives as well.
