Coronavirus infection kill 193 people, adding 7,914 infected



KATHMANDU: In the last 24 hours, 193 more people have died from coronavirus infection and 7,914 have been confirmed infected.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 186,965 RT-PCR tests were conducted in laboratories across the country across the country. Of the newly infected, 2,821 are from Kathmandu Valley. Of them, 1781 are from Kathmandu, 694 from Lalitpur and 366 from Bhaktapur.

In the last 24 hours, 7,664 people have been recovered from Covid-19 infection.

According to the Ministry of Health, the highest number of coronavirus infections has been reported in Kathmandu (1,761), Lalitpur (694), Rupandehi (429), Morang (383), Bhaktapur (366), Bardiya (271) and Surkhet (239).

Similarly, coronavirus infection has been confirmed in 156 children under the age of 9 and 565 people in the age group of 10 to 19 years have been infected, according to the ministry.
