KATHMANDU: Additional 190 people have died from deadly coronavirus (COVID-19) infection in the last 24 hours. With the addition of 8,305 infected people, 6,543 people have recovered.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 22,087 samples were tested in the last 24 hours. Likewise, the number of infected people has reached 115,852. Of them, 108,038 are in home isolation and 7,814 people are in institutional isolation.
A total of 1,748 are in ICUs, out of which 492 have been given ventilator support, the ministry informed. 6,543 recovered from COVID-19 infection.
According to the ministry, coronavirus infection has been confirmed in 4,88,645 people so far. Of them, 5,847 people have lost their lives while 366,946 people have recovered.
