Coronavirus infection kills entrepreneurs Gaire, Jalan



KATHMANDU: President of Nepal Foreign Employment Entrepreneurs Association Bishnu Prasad Gaire has passed away. Gare, who was infected with the coronavirus, died during treatment.

Sujit Kumar Shrestha, General Secretary of the association, informed that he passed away at Kathmandu Medical College at Sinamangal in Kathmandu at 6 pm. He was admitted to KMC Hospital a week ago after the infection was confirmed. His condition worsened and he was being treated on a ventilator.

Chairman Gaire is also an executive member of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry.

Likewise, Bijay Jalan, Director of WorldLink Communications Limited, Nepal’s leading internet service provider, has passed away due to COVID-19 infection on Thursday morning.

Jalan died at the age of 47 while undergoing treatment at Medicity Hospital in Kathmandu. Jalan is also the co-founder of WorldLink Communications Limited.
