Coronavirus: Third person tested positive

Kathmandu:  A person has been tested positive to the COVID-19. Information to this was shared by Information Officer at Ministry of Health and Population, Ganesh Shreevastav, today.

He further said the person tested positive today has been receiving treatment at isolation ward of Shukraj Tropical and Infectious Disease Control Hospital, Teku, Kathmandu.  Detailed information about the person was yet to be collected.

With this, the number of person tested positive to COVID-19 has reached three in Nepal.

The first one has been cured and returned home, while the second one was a 19-year-old lady returned from France via Qatar.

As per the Ministry update, a total of 687 persons have been tested COVID-19, among which only three were positive. —
