KATHMANDU, Dec 12: A total of 15 people died of COVID-19 in the country in the past 24 hours.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population, total death incidents caused by coronavirus infection has so far reached 1,689 across the country.
The Ministry further shared that 899 people had tested positive to the deadly virus infection while conducting PCR test on 5,242 people in the past 24 hours.
With this, total cases of virus infection have jumped to 247,593 till December 12 in the country.
Similarly, 359 infected have recovered in the past 24 hours. With this, of total infected cases, 234,231 individuals have recovered so far.
The infection recovery per cent stands at 94.6 in the country.
