KATHMANDU: The country reported a total of 403 new cases of coronavirus infection including 244 male and 159 female in the past 24 hours.
With this, the coronavirus tally in the country reached 262,262. The Kathmandu valley reported 185 new cases including 140 in Kathmandu, 21 in Lalitpur and 24 in Bhaktapur districts.
Likewise, 594 infected recovered across the country in the past 24 hours. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 255,088 infected recovered till December 4.
At present, the country has altogether 5,289 reported active cases of the corona virus infection and 342 of them are in quarantine facilities.
In the past 24 hours, seven people succumbed to the virus taking the death toll to 1885.
