KATHMANDU, Dec 09: A further 1,056 people have been infected with the coronavirus in Nepal in the last 24 hours.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population, RT-PCR tests of 6,286 people in laboratories across the country have confirmed infection in 1,056 people.
According to the ministry, 1,483 people have been recovered in the last 24 hours. Till now, there are 230,537 people have so far recovered from corona infection.
The recovery rate in Nepal stood at 93.3 percent.
Another 14 people have died from corona infection in the past 24 hours. The death toll in the country has risen to 1,651 so far.
