Kathmandu, Oct 18: The main opposition party in the House of Representatives, the CPN UML, has condemned the attack at the All Ahari Arab Hospital in Gaza of Palestine, resulting into the death of doctors, patients and their attendants and people taking shelter there.

Issuing a press release on Wednesday, UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli said a huge explosion was caused by the rocket launch which devastated the hospital building and claimed the lives of hundreds of people. It is deplorable, he added. “Any kind of problem can be solved via peaceful dialogue. The attack at hospital and killing patients, health workers and civilian has breached the international law, human rights and humanity,” he stated in the press release.

He further made his party’s view clear that the agencies providing humanitarian aid and rescue should be allowed into the Gaza Strip.

According to the media reports, the warring parties like the Government of Israel and Hamas allege each other over the bombing of the hospital.
