Kathmandu, Nov 11: Vice-Chairman of CPN (Unified Socialist) Rajendra Pandey has urged the government to support the earthquake affected communities in the districts of Jajarkot and Rukum Paschim.
Addressing a Tihar cultural programme organized by the party’s Gorkha-Kathmandu liaison forum to raise funds in its bid to support the earthquake survivors, Pandey asked the government to pay special attention to ensure health care services in the affected districts. “The government always should be ready for the disaster management including for earthquakes,” Pandey argued.
He also asked the government to become serious to the pathetic condition of the people from the affected communities since they are obliged to stay under the open sky in the winter.
